Responsorial Psalm for The Epiphany of the Lord, Year B
– Psalms 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-11, 12-13.
(cf. 11) Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.
1O God, with your judgment endow the king, and with your justice, the king’s son; 2He shall govern your people with justice and your afflicted ones with judgment. R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.
7Justice shall flower in his days, and profound peace, till the moon be no more. 8May he rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.
10The kings of Tarshish and the Isles shall offer gifts; the kings of Arabia and Seba shall bring tribute. 11All kings shall pay him homage, all nations shall serve him. R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.
12For he shall rescue the poor when he cries out, and the afflicted when he has no one to help him. 13He shall have pity for the lowly and the poor; the lives of the poor he shall save. R. Lord, every nation on earth will adore you
Alleluia for The Epiphany of the Lord, Year B

Gospel for The Epiphany of the Lord, Year B: Matthew 2: 1-12
1 When Jesus therefore was born in Bethlehem of Juda, in the days of king Herod, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.
2 Saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to adore him.
3 And king Herod hearing this, was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And assembling together all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where Christ should be born.
5 But they said to him: In Bethlehem of Juda. For so it is written by the prophet: 6 And thou Bethlehem the land of Juda art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come forth the captain that shall rule my people Israel.
7 Then Herod, privately calling the wise men, learned diligently of them the time of the star which appeared to them;
8 And sending them into Bethlehem, said: Go and diligently inquire after the child, and when you have found him, bring me word again, that I also may come to adore him.
9 Who having heard the king, went their way; and behold the star which they had seen in the east, went before them, until it came and stood over where the child was.
10 And seeing the star they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And entering into the house, they found the child with Mary his mother, and falling down they adored him; and opening their treasures, they offered him gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 And having received an answer in sleep that they should not return to Herod, they went back another way into their country.

Responsorial Psalm For theFeast of The Holy Family, Year B– Psalms 128:1-2, 3, 4-5.
R. (cf. 1) Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
1Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in his ways! 2For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork;
blessed shall you be, and favored. R. Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
3Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
in the recesses of your home;
your children like olive plants
around your table. R. Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
4Behold, thus is the man blessed
who fears the LORD. 5The LORD bless you from Zion:
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life. R. Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
Alleleluia Verse For Feast of The Holy Family, Year B –Hebrews 1:1-2

Gospel For The Feast of The Holy Family, Year B
-LK 2:22-40
When the days were completed for their purification
according to the law of Moses,
They took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord,
just as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord,
and to offer the sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons,
in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord.
Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon.
This man was righteous and devout,
awaiting the consolation of Israel,
and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death
before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.
He came in the Spirit into the temple;
and when the parents brought in the child Jesus
to perform the custom of the law in regard to him,
He took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word,
for my eyes have seen your salvation,
which you prepared in sight of all the peoples,
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and glory for your people Israel.”
The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him;
and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,
“Behold, this child is destined
for the fall and rise of many in Israel,
and to be a sign that will be contradicted
—and you yourself a sword will pierce—
so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage, and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer. And coming forward at that very time, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem. When they had fulfilled all the prescriptions of the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth. The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.

When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, They took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord, and to offer the sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons, in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord.
Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.
He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, He took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in sight of all the peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.”
The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, Tamoo bwo myamoo ti’i nyɛ’ɛ ntsù wwa nǝ ayɛ̀’ɛ̀sǝ̀ mǝzu’unǝ̌ anyù zu ma â swiŋǝ mbǝ̀’ǝ moo; Shimon ti’i nfwo wwa nkǝ nswiŋǝ a mbwo mma yì Màriyà ngǝ: “Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted —and you yourself a sword will pierce— so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

R. (Luke 2:11) Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord.
1Sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all you lands.
2ASing to the LORD; bless his name. R. Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord
2BAnnounce his salvation, day after day.
3Tell his glory among the nations;
among all peoples, his wondrous deeds. R. Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord.
11Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice;
let the sea and what fills it resound;
12let the plains be joyful and all that is in them!
Then shall all the trees of the forest exult. R. Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord.
13They shall exult before the LORD, for he comes;
for he comes to rule the earth.
He shall rule the world with justice
and the peoples with his constancy. R. Today is born our Savior, Christ the Lord.
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus
that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment,
when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town.
And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth
to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and family of David,
to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child,
and she gave birth to her firstborn son.
She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger,
because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock.
The angel of the Lord appeared to them
and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were struck with great fear.
The angel said to them,
“Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy
that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David
a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord.
And this will be a sign for you:
you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes
and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel,
praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Gospel For Christmas Mass at Dawn, The Nativity of the Lord, Gospel – Luke 2:15-20
15When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.”
16So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.
17When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child.
18All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.
19And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.
20Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.
