Matthew 4:18-19. Nov. 30, 2024. May I Stand Firm in Devotion and commitment, Lord

Lord Jesus, my Master, I pray to stand firm in my commitment to You. Just as You called Andrew, the humble fisherman, to become a fisher of men, I ask for Your grace to understand that life with You is infinitely better than life without You. Fill me with the same courage and conviction that Andrew had, to leave everything behind and follow You. Teach me to cherish true and loving friendships with everyone I meet, and to be a faithful ambassador for Your kingdom. You remind me, Lord, that Your gaze is always upon me, and that You long for me to be Your friend and servant. Give me the strength to work tirelessly to bring others into Your kingdom, just as Andrew did. Saint Andrew, pray for me. My Lord and Master Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 21:32-33. Nov. 29, 2024.  You Are My Eternal Word That Never Change, Lord.

Word Everlasting, Jesus, I put my trust in Your word, for it never fails or changes. While everything else may pass away, Your word stands firm forever. In moments of trial, difficulty, confusion, and frustration, I turn to You for solace. Abandon me not, O Lord, in times of distress and doubt, but shine Your light to dispel all darkness. You are my refuge in times of distress. May I see Your loving kindness and the protection You promised me all the days of my life. Give me the strength, Lord, to stand firm amidst life’s changes, both in this world and the world to come. May I cling to Your promises and never let go.
My Jesus, I believe and trust in You. Amen.

Luke 21:28. Nov. 28:2024 Trust And Devotion To You Eternal Present Lord.

My ever-present Jesus, I praise and worship You for Your constant presence in my life. You are always close, saving Your people in times of difficulty, trial, and temptation. You remind me today, dear Lord, that in moments of distress, You are near. When I call upon You, answer me and keep me safe. Your protection is my shield, and with You, I need not tremble. As You have promised, You, our Redeemer, are always close to us. May my hope and trust in You never falter as I live each day, anchored in Your words. Prepare me, dear Lord, to receive You when You come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. May I be ready, steadfast in my faith, and devoted to Your will.
My saving Lord Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 21:14:15. Nov. 27, 2024. Eternal Trust In Your Wisdom, O Lord

Jesus, my Heavenly Barrister, You are the ultimate Judge of the world. I’m grateful for Your friendship and guidance in my life. You protect and save me from dangers and persecutions according to Your will. I acknowledge my limitations and inability to save myself. But with You by my side, I’m confident that I’m not alone in times of distress and persecution. Your promise in Luke 21:14 gives me courage: “I myself shall give you a wisdom…” Fill me with a heart of mercy, humility, and love when faced with persecution. May I respond as You did during Your time on earth; with humility and love. Give me the grace to trust in Your goodness and not seek revenge when afflicted for You ask me to bless those who persecute me. You are my Judge, my Rock, and my Salvation.
May Your wisdom guide me every day, dear Lord. Jesus, my Heavenly Barrister, I trust in You. Amen.

Reflection Points:

1. Trust in God’s wisdom and guidance in times of uncertainty.
2. Recognize your limitations and rely on God’s power and strength.
3. Respond to persecution with humility, love, and mercy, just as Jesus did.

Luke 21:5-6. Nov. 26, 2024. Eternal Source Of Peace, Lord Jesus

My Savior Jesus, You prepare me for life’s challenges, cautioning me about persecutions, trials, and temptations. You teach me to stand firm, unafraid and undeceived when faced with adversity. Life’s journey can be difficult, with moments of sadness, abuse, hatred, and persecution. But Your words, dear Jesus, give me courage, consolation, and understanding. Help me to know Your truth, my source of peace and strength. In times of persecution, be my rock, my shelter, and my comfort. My saving Jesus, I trust in Your protection and love.
Amen.

Luke 21:1-4. Nov. 25, 2024. O Lord, You are all I want And All I Need

Eternal Surrender to You, O Lord Jesus. You are my everything, all I want and all I need. All-powerful Jesus, Your goodness, mercy, and kindness know no bounds. You are the ultimate friend, the treasure everyone should seek. Like the poor widow of today’s Gospel, I trust that giving my all to You means having You fully. You are the Lord of my life, my one and only God.
With You, I have everything: true peace, love, joy, and happiness. I surrender my all to You, without reserve, and ask that You bestow Your salvific riches upon me. Fill me, dear Lord, with the knowledge that all I am and all I have come from You and belong to You and You alone, now and forever. My loving Jesus, I trust in Your divine providence. Amen.

John 18:36. Nov. 24, 2024. Eternal Praise to You, O Jesus, King of the Universe

My Lord and my God, Jesus, You reign supreme as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Your dominion extends over all creation; there is none like You. With angels and saints, I join in heavenly worship, adoring and praising You. You are my everything – my desire, my need, my King forever.
You are the faithful friend who never fails, the Good Shepherd guiding me through life’s journey, and the Protector whose angels safeguard me. Who can compare to Your Majesty, O Lord? You are the Most High King, all-powerful, all-knowing, and Omnipresent. Only You can liberate the captives, heal the brokenhearted, welcome the lost, restore the penitent, and bring salvation to our world. I vow to adore and praise You, my King and my God, now and forever. May Your Kingdom reign supreme on earth, as it is in heaven. My Jesus, King of the Universe, I adore You, praise You, and trust in Your mighty saving power. Amen.”

Luke 20 37-37. Nov. 23, 2024. Eternal Life Is Sure In You, O Lord

My resurrected Jesus, In You, we live, move, and have our being. Through baptism and the power of Your resurrection, we are forever Your living creation. Whether in life or death, all who believe in You belong to You and will live on in You until the Resurrection of the Dead and the life of the world to come. Dear Lord, May Your purifying love continue to transform me, until the day You return in glory. Help me remain in the state of grace until I behold the new heaven and the new earth. My Everlasting Lord and God, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 19:43-44. Nov. 21, 2024. Fill My Heart With Holy Sorrow, Lord.

My Lord and my God, You desire my obedience and growth in faith, that I may attain salvation. My lack of faith grieves You, and You weep, just as You lamented Jerusalem’s future destruction. Help me, dear Lord, to mourn my sins and that of those that offend me. Grant me a holy sorrow for the sins of others, and the faithlessness that surrounds me. Empower me to renounce sin and seek Your joy, avoiding the pitfalls of unfaithfulness. Like You, sweet Jesus, may I lament with compassion, those who persecute or harm me, for they know not what they do. My sorrowful Lord Jesus, I trust in Your sorrowful heart and Your transformative power. Amen.

Luke 19:45-46. Nov. 22, 2024. Purify My Heart And Sanctify Your World, O Lord.

My Sanctifying Jesus, Your zeal to sanctify Your Father’s house inspires me, to seek holiness in my own life. Your love for me desires that I worship God with all my heart, keeping sacred the things of God. Cleanse my heart, Your temple within me, where You reside, and make Your home. May Your desire to purify the world be fulfilled, just as You sanctified the Jerusalem temple. I invite You to sanctify our world today, granting me the courage to rebuke evil and purify myself. Inspire me with Your boldness to reject evil, and help others avoid its grasp. O Lord, continue Your purifying mission on earth, and may my thoughts, words, and actions join You in this mission. My purifying Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 19:12-14. No. 20, 2024. May I Unleash My Talents, Lord

My Lord and my God, Thank You for creating me and entrusting me with unique talents. I’m grateful for the blessings You’ve bestowed upon me. You desire that I utilize these gifts to grow in faith and contribute to the expansion of Your kingdom. Dearest Jesus, empower me to overcome laziness, shyness, and neglect and unleash my talents for God’s Glory. Fill me with determination and zeal to harness my talents for Your glory. May I serve You faithfully, according to Your will. My Divine Provider, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 19:1-3. November 19, 20 2024.  My Heart Is Thirsting For You, O God

My Lord Jesus, Zacheus’ eagerness inspires me, as he climbed a tree to behold Your presence. Like him, my soul thirsts for You, O Lord my God. What would You do with a poor sinner like me? Where can I go, what can I do, to behold Your face, my God? My saving Lord Jesus, Zacheus’ determination is my example, as he sought to catch a glimpse of You. You saw him, knew his heart, and called him. Lord Jesus, You’ve shown me that You seek and save the lost. May my longing for You grow stronger each day,
until You welcome me as a true friend. Come, dear Lord, and reside in the home of my soul, that I may experience the transformative power of Your love. Help me abandon every obstacle that hindered me, from seeking You in the past. My saving Lord, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 18:35-39. Nov. 18, 2024.  Have Pity On Me Jesus Son Of David

My merciful Jesus, Bartimaeus cried out to you, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me.” In the same way, O merciful Jesus, I cry to you today.  Have pity on me for I am not perfect. Have pity on the whole world for it has despised your plan in many ways. As I stay attentive at my prayer place as a beggar, dear Lord,  I hope, believe, and trust you will pass by and I will feel Your presence and hear Your gentle voice. Then like Bartimaeus, I call out, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me” and may your mighty healing power fall upon my family. Give me the grace, dear Lord, to boldly call for you in every moment of need. May I remain focused and cry out louder when obstacles come my way. Jesus my Mighty Physician, I trust in You. Amen

Mark 13:24-25. November 17, 2024. Strengthen Our Faith Amid Persecutions, O Lord

My Lord and my God, You are my sole protector and Savior. You know all about Your Church and me. Thank You for Your word that
Strengthens our Faith and prepares us for life’s challenges. You promised that amidst persecution,
You’ll be very near to us. Keep my faith and the Church’s faith unshaken,
in temptation, trials and persecution. Grant us grace to stand firm, trusting You as our Lord and protector. My saving Lord Jesus, I trust in You.

Amen.

Luke 18:6-8. Nov. 16, 2024.  You Are Always There For Me, Dear Lord

You are always there for me and ready to respond to my calls.  When I persevere and am persistent in prayer, You respond to me and Your response is always just and always for my good. You desire that I should unite with You always like a branch to the vine.  O Lord, fill my heart with an abundance of mercy and compassion for others and help me to respond to their needs with true mercy and justice. May I grow in trust and hope that You will always answer my prayers the way you want and not the way I want. My wise Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 17:26-27. Nov. 15, 2024. Help Me To Stay Alerted, Lord

You desire that I stay prepared at all times,
free from procrastination, and do good always.
Help me live each day with readiness, as if it were the last, for I know not the hour of Your final coming. Help me dear Lord to acknowledge Your coming to me every day in Your Spirit and that I may stay prepared for that unknown precious moment when we shall meet face to face. Grant me the grace to acknowledge Your daily presence in Your Spirit, and keep me prepared for our face-to-face meeting.
Help me choose heavenly realities over earthly temptations. Fill my heart daily with Your grace, obedience to Your will, mercy, compassion, love, forgiveness, self-control, self-sacrifice, and the grace of physical readiness. O Lord, may I live for you now and forever. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Your commandments to me are out of Your deep and perfect love for my good and never to destroy me. Your commands, O God, guide my steps not to go astray and help me to remain in total obedience to You. Following Your commands, Lord, bring me peace, joy, and self-fulfillment. My Loving and compassionate Jesus, you love sinners unconditionally and desire always that they return to you. You are not pleased with those who cause others to sin. You teach me today to love sinners and You desire deeply that I should not cause others to sin. Dear Lord, by your grace, help me not to cause others to sin by evoking their emotions, taking them for granted, belittling them, judging and condemning them, misleading them, or taking advantage of their vulnerability. May I develop a soft, gentle, and loving attitude towards all those who displease me in any way, and strive to love and be compassionate to everyone around me as You are loving and compassionate to them. My loving Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

My merciful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

My glorious Jesus, you promised all those who are poor in Spirit that theirs is the kingdom of heaven. You desired that all may be saints.  It has come to pass, dear Lord, that many of such are already with you in glory. As we remember and honor them this day in happiness and joy, grant that we may live lives of faithfulness, holiness, love, peace, and harmony worthy to lead us one day to join the company of your saints in heaven. Increased our hunger and thirst for righteousness and perseverance in persecutions that we may receive its reward in the fullness of time. May we long to become saints not only in heaven but in the present world.  My glorified Lord Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Join us on YouTube to pray and sing to Saint Joseph our protector and intercessor.

Let us pray:

Dear Saint Joseph,

We come to you with humble hearts, seeking your powerful intercession and protection. You, who were chosen by God to be the earthly father of Jesus and the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, are a shining example of faith, obedience, and trust.

As our protector, we ask you to guard us from harm, to keep us safe from the snares of the enemy, and to protect us from all evil. Just as you protected the Holy Family, we ask you to protect our families, our loved ones, and our communities.

As our intercessor, we ask you to pray for us, to plead our cause before the throne of God. We ask you to intercede for our needs, our struggles, and our aspirations. Just as you were a faithful and loving father to Jesus, we ask you to be a father to us, guiding us, supporting us, and encouraging us.

We pray for your protection and intercession in all areas of our lives:

– In our families, that we may be united in love and faith
– In our relationships, that we may be kind, compassionate, and understanding
– In our work, that we may be diligent, honest, and just
– In our struggles, that we may be strong, courageous, and hopeful
– In our doubts, that we may be enlightened, guided, and reassured

Saint Joseph, we ask you to pray for us, that we may be worthy of the calling we have received. Pray that we may be faithful, obedient, and trusting, just as you were.

We also ask you to intercede for the Church, for our leaders, and for all those who are suffering. Pray that we may be united in our diversity, that we may be strong in our weakness, and that we may be joyful in our struggles.

Saint Joseph, we thank you for your example, your protection, and your intercession. May we always follow your guidance, trust in your care, and rejoice in your love.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Psalm 91 Prayer For Protection

Psalm 91 Prayer For Protection

Pray on YouTube

Welcome, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, to this moment of prayer and reflection. Today, we’ll be meditating on Psalm 91, a powerful declaration of God’s protection, love, and care for His children. This psalm has brought comfort and strength to many throughout the centuries, and we trust that it will do the same for us today. As we pray through this psalm, may we be reminded of God’s faithfulness, His sovereignty, and His love for us.

Psalm 91 verses 1 to 2 says –

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'”

Dear Heavenly Father, I  thank You for the promise of Your protection and care. Help me to dwell in Your shelter, to rest in Your shadow, and to trust in Your love. Be my refuge and fortress, my God, in whom I  trust. Keep me safe from harm and fill me with Your peace. In Jesus name, I pray.

Psalm 91 verses 3 and 4 says,

“Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”

Dear Lord Jesus, I  thank You for Your salvation and protection. Save me from the snares of the enemy and the deadly pestilence. Cover me with Your feathers, and be my refuge under Your wings. Be my shield and rampart, my faithful God, in whom I trust. In Jesus name, I pray.

Psalm 91 verses 5 and 6 say,

“You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”

Dear Heavenly Father, I  thank You for Your promise of protection and peace. Help me to fear no evil, for You are with me. Keep me and my family safe from the terror of night and the arrow that flies by day. Be our shield and defense, our God, in whom we trust.
Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your promise of protection and deliverance. Help us to trust in Your love and to fear no evil. Keep us safe from the evil one and the wicked. Be our deliverer, our God, in whom we trust. In Jesus name, I pray.

Psalm 91:7- 8 says, “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked”.

“Dear Lord Jesus, a thousand may fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand, but You have promised that it will not come near us. We will only observe with our eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

We thank You for Your protection and deliverance. Help us to trust in Your love and to fear no evil. Keep us safe from the evil ones and the wicked. Be our deliverer, our God, in whom we trust.

Only with our eyes, we will see the reward of the wicked, but we will not be afraid. You are our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust. You will cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings, we will find refuge.

We declare that we are under Your shadow, and we are safe from all harm. We will not fear, for You are with us. You are our God, our rock, our salvation, and our deliverer.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your love and protection. May Your name be glorified, now and forevermore. Amen.”

As written in Psalms 91 verses 9 to 16, I pray –

Dear Lord, I declare that You are my refuge, my shelter, and my dwelling place. I make You, the Most High, my home. Keep me safe from harm and disaster, and be my rock in times of trouble.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that no harm will overtake me, no disaster will come near my tent. You are my protector, my defender, and my deliverer. Keep me safe in Your loving arms.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for commanding Your angels to guard me in all my ways. Send them to protect me, to guide me, and to keep me safe from harm.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for lifting me up in Your hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a stone. Keep me safe from stumbling, from falling, and from harm.

Dear Lord, I declare that I will tread on the lion and the cobra, I will trample the great lion and the serpent. Give me courage, strength, and victory over the enemy.

Dear Lord, I thank You that because I love You, You will rescue me, protect me, and acknowledge my name. Be my Savior, my deliverer, and my God.
Lord Jesus, I will call on You, and I know that You will answer me. Be with me in trouble, deliver me, and honor me. Show me Your salvation and Your love.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for promising me a long life, satisfaction, and salvation. Show me Your glory, Your grace, and Your love. May I know You deeply and intimately, now and forevermore.

As we conclude our prayer, Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promises of this psalm. Help us to believe and receive Your love, protection, and care. May we be agents of evangelization, sharing Your love and Word with others. We pray that those who listen to this prayer will be blessed and encouraged and that they will share and subscribe to this channel for more prayers and reflections. May Your love and grace be upon us, now and forevermore. Amen.

Dear friends in the Lord believe that you have received all the blessings coming from this Psalm 91 prayer and that will come to pass in your life as the Bible tells us in Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”.

R. (3) The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

1 When the LORD brought back the captives of Zion,
we were like men dreaming.
2AB Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with rejoicing.
R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

2BC Then they said among the nations,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 The LORD has done great things for us;
we are glad indeed.
R. The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

4 Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
like the torrents in the southern desert.
5 Those that sow in tears

carrying the seed to be sown,
They shall come back rejoicing,

Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B – Gospel Mark 10:46-52 https://youtu.be/y5o65YQ9Hkw

46 As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a sizable crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind man, the son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging.

47 On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, son of David, have pity on me.”

48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me.”

49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take courage; get up, Jesus is calling you.”

50 He threw aside his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus. 51 Jesus said to him in reply, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.”

52 Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.

My dearest and protecting Father, I especially thank You today as You yearn to protect me as a hen covers her cheeks. I claim this promise of protection you pronounce over my life today and I let you do as you want now and forever. May the power of your death and resurrection keep me safe from the tactics of the devil. Help me to put on Your whole armor to quench the burning arrows of evil. Increase my faith and love towards my enemy, put your word in my mouth and sandals of readiness to proclaim You; The Truth and Peace of the world, always. Fill me with the grace of vigilance and steadfastness against sin and to daily repent from sin. Above all, help me unite myself with You my Vine every day in prayers.  My protecting Lord, I  trust in You. Amen

Luke 13:27. Oct. 30, 2024. May I not just presume salvation but help me work for it, Lord.

My saving Lord, You urge me today to do everything to enter life through the narrow gate. You are so loving and kind to all and you desire that all may be safe, that no one even me should perish. May I not just presume salvation but help me, dear Lord, to work for it. Fill my heart with goodness, kindness, and love in everything I say or do. My saving Lord Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen

Luke 13:18-10. Oct. 29, 2024. Wherever I have planted a mustard seed, O Lord, bless it.

My loving and lowly Jesus, thank you for the lesson you have given me today about the mustard seed. Wherever I have planted a mustard seed of faith, dear Lord, bless it and let it grow. Bless my feeble apostolic endeavors; the little acts of kindness, my little unnoticeable faith, and acts of faith, my feeble prayers and the weak works of my hands, my little secret decisions about faith, and my tiny efforts to love. Lord, may all these mustard seed efforts contribute to building your kingdom here on earth. Help me to continue planting tiny mustard seeds of faith in your kingdom untiring. My sweet and lowly Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 6:12. Oct. 28, 2024. You call, anoint, and give us Bishops to govern your Church, Lord

My All-powerful Jesus, you called men like Simon and Jude to govern your church of old and today you still call and anoint Bishops as Shepherds after your heart to govern the church of today. I thank you Father for the gift of Bishops, Priest, and Religious whom you have given us. I implore you, Father, through the intercession of Saints Simon and Jude to bless, protect, and give more powers to all our Bishops, Priests and Religious that they may continue to transform the world; working in union with all your Christians. Bless their efforts, Lord. Chastise them and help them to be rooted radically in the faith. Saints Simon and Jude Pray for us. My Jesus, I  trust in You. Amen.

Oct. 26, 2024. You give me time to cultivate the soil of my heart, Lord

O Lord my God, please give me courage and determination to always do your will and bear the fruits you require of Me for You have given me enough time to cultivate the soil of my heart, Lord. Bless the works of my hands and make them fruitful, O Lord. My Jesus,  I  trust in you. Amen

Luke 12, 57-58. Oct. 25, 2024. Bring me back to reason, Lord, when I begin to stray.

My fairest Jesus, It is your desire that I reconcile my life to the truth. When earthly things tempt me and I begin to stray in, Lord, bring me back to reason. When the flashing and glittering world begins to guess I see and love it better, Lord, chastise my eyes. When my ears begin to get in love with the jingling bells and the clanking gongs of my days, Lord, chastise my ears. When my body begins to dictate my life than my spirit does, Lord, chastise my spirit. When my thoughts begin to compare me with others, Lord, chastise my thoughts. When my words begin to betray, persecute, judge, argue, and condemn, Lord, chastises my tongue. Bring me back to reason, dear Lord, when I begin to stray. My fairest Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 12:39-40. Oct. 23, 2024. Every day you fill me with knowledge, Lord.

My loving and caring Jesus,  every day you fill me with new knowledge and understanding of what life is about and how to live it, what to remember, and what to expect. You will never want to see your loved one lost in this world but be aware and go for what leads to the treasure you’ve kept ahead for them. You are teaching me today that I should be prepared at all times for life can end at any time. That You can return to earth at any time without warning for the final judgment as You promised, That I should remember You are with me always and You have a mission for me to fulfill each day for I should never be sure the next day will come. With all these lessons, dear Lord, give me the grace to live this day doing your will, spreading love, doing the needful, keeping things in order, and keeping spiritual and physical health by feeding the soul with prayer and body with food. My dearest Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 12:35-36. Oct. 22, 2024.  Fill me with the grace of readiness, O Lord

Luke 11:37-40. Oct. 15, 2024. You amaze me, Jesus.

My amazing and sincere Lord, each day you fill me with amazement and laughter as well as embarrassment, fear, and doubt. I am amazed to hear You call the Pharisees fools but at the same time, I’m afraid that’s me. How terrible for me if my Lord, calls me a fool? At the thought of this, my laughter turns into sadness and I turn to You dear Lord pleading for your grace to be able to clean myself from the inside first and not just the outside like the Pharisees. May I diligently focus on that which is deep within my heart and make it bloom with a love of God and others first before it proceeds to my words and acts. May what I see of myself outside reflect what is within. My sincere Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.

Luke 11, 29:30. Oct. 14, 2024. You are a sign for my daily decisions, Lord

My ever-present Jesus, your life, death, and resurrection are a sign of my daily decisions. You give me the signs of self-sacrifice and laying down my life for others. O Lord my God, my Divine Provider. You are the giver of all good things. I thank You for You have prepared all the riches of your heavenly kingdom for all your beloved ones on earth. Make me see and grow with humility in all the riches you provide me, both heavenly and worldly. By Your grace help me to be more attached to savoring and growing in Your heavenly wealth which surpasses every early possession. You ask and demand of me to surrender everything that may prevent me from gaining heavenly riches.  I  hereby surrender all to You; my greed, selfishness, pride, and all my weaknesses leaving behind nothing, in exchange for your generous Love and riches of your heavenly kingdom. My demanding Lord, I  trust in You. Amen.

My generous Jesus, you are always ready to give us every good thing we ask of you. Thank you for your always ready answer. You responded promptly to your Apostle’s plea by teaching them the Our Father Prayer. Teach me to pray, Lord. Open my mouth and make me bold enough to come before my God each day, call Him our Father, and talk with Him.  Open my ears to hear Him when He speaks to me in prayer.  Give me the courage to practice what I say and learn in prayer, especially from the Our Father prayers.  My generous Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 10:40-42. Oct. 8, 2024. Help me to choose the better part each day, Lord.

Jesus, Mary, and Martha

My Lord and my God, everything done in You is important and good but You desire that I choose and offer the better part to You each day. I lift my daily doings to You, also the better part being my daily encounter with You. O Lord, hear my daily prayer and help me to always spend the better part of my day with You in all that I think, do or say. Help me to preserve what can never be taken from me. Like Mary, help me devout more time in silent and loving prayers and adoration of You. My Loving Jesus I trust in you Amen.

Luke 20:25 Oct. 7th, 2025 Teach me what I must do (the secret) to earn eternal life, Lord

Lord Jesus,  source of all truth, you have every correct answer about life on earth and life eternal. I come to you with a humble and open heart ready to learn your ways and the secrets to earn eternal life. As you did to the Scholar of the law, direct me by Your word and wisdom on what I must do to earn eternal life. Teach me too to respond prudently to all who come to test my faith. My most humble and prudent Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 20: 23-24. April 5, 2024. I too want to see and hear you, Lord

Mighty Jesus, you let your Apostles know they are blessed seeing and hearing you for many of old longed to see and hear but never did. O Lord how wonderful and blessed it is to stand in your presence, see you, hear you, and know that you are truly the Messiah from God. O Lord, you are the Lord of my life too, I too want to see and hear You. Speak your words and promises into my senses for you are all want, all I need. My wonderful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 10:13. Oct. 4, 2024. Lead me to true repentance, O Lord

My wonderful Jesus, your great works are abound all around me.  Open my eyes to see them and be justified if there’s any cause to sin any more than to repent from all my brokenness and to trust in you. My fathers of old sat in sackcloths and ashes to show their repentance and trust in You, May I, by my thoughts, words, and acts show true repentance from my shortcomings and bring healing to others through my open act of repentance.  My merciful Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen

Luke 10:1-3. Oct. 3, 2024. Make me a lamb, Lord

A lamb among wolves

My gentle Jesus, you sent out your Apostles like lambs among wolves. They went without fear for they knew you are a good Shepherd who always protects your sheep. My meek and lowly Jesus, make me a lamb among wolves. That I may never weaver during persecution but believe and trust in You and your mighty protection. By your grace make me a lamb among the mighty wolves (sins) in my life for sin and sin alone can bring true damage. Give faith and courage during persecution and every threat to life and may your protection be upon me now and forever. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 18:10. Oct. 2, 2024.  You who are my guide day and night, pray for me.

Guardian Angel

O Angel of God, my guardian dear. You who guard after me day and night, intercede for me this day. Especially, I  call on you this day dedicated to you, that you may pray more for me and mine. You have been so caring, so protective and so dearly close in every step I take. I thank you for your love and close friendship. I praise you together with all the heavenly courts now and forever. Amen

Luke 9:51-52 Oct.1, 2024.  Teach me and grant me your spiritual courage, Lord

My courage Jesus, you were full of spiritual courage throughout Your mission to save me and the world. You were never afraid to embrace the will of your Father that called You to sacrifice. Teach me and grant me the courage, dear Lord, in moments I’m tempted to avoid sacrifice and only embrace the easy way of life. Give me the courage to overcome all fears that detour me from your will. My courageous Jesus,  I trust in you. Amen

Fruits Of My Daily Meditation For September 2024

“They wanted to hurl Him down headlong but He passed through the midst of them and went away.” Lk.4:30

Luke 9:48. Sept. 30, 2024. You know my heart too, Lord

Jesus with a child

Lord Jesus, You who knows the heart of men, read the hearts of your Apostles as they argue on who is the greatest amongst themselves. You gently caution them to keep their eyes away from vain glory and receive Your kingdom with the purity and humility of a child. You read my heart too, Lord. Help me, to pay attention to your gentle promptings whenever I begin to go astray. Fill me with a sense of constant self-reflection and keep me, dear Lord, on the right part of life. Thank you, Lord, for your daily advice to me. My all-knowing Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Mark 9:43-47.  Sept. 29, 2024. Teach me, dear Lord,  to eliminate occasions of sin.

My radical Jesus, you teach me frankly today that sin, and only Sin, can destroy my life, and that I should do all it takes to avoid it. By your grace, dear Lord, help me, to eliminate occasions of sin in my life. Open my eyes to see those things that lead me to sin and fill me with the courage to say no to them. My radical Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 9:44-45,  Sept 28, 2024. Help me to accept your cross, Lord

My saving Lord, your Apostles did not want to hear you say you are going to be handed over to be crucified.  This could not make meaning to them because their love, trust, and hope for You were so dear. They could not answer for they were blind to the truth and never believed what You said could happen. My Lord and my God, help me to recognize your cross and accept it whenever it surfaces in my life. May I not be blinded to accept your will but let your will and the will of Your Father be done always. Like the Apostles, lead me gradually to believing and accepting your will. My saving Lord, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 9-18,  Sept 27 2024.  You invite me to the deepest human fulfillment, Lord.

Jesus in solitude with His Apostles

Most Holy Jesus, as the Apostles, you invite me to solitude; a different level of prayer, with you. In solitude You entered body and soul into the deepest relationship with Your Father, thereby satisfying both your divine and human nature. You teach me that when in solitude with You, I receive the same deepest human satisfaction. Teach me, dear Lord, to stay with you more often and deeply in prayers that I may receive the deepest human fulfillment which only comes from you. Initiate me more into this deepest level of prayer each day, O Lord. My Most Holy Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 9:7-8. Sept. 26, 2024. Give me the grace to keep to your promptings, O Lord

Herod Antipas got Your promptings, Lord, and wishes he could see You, but never made efforts to meet You; a meeting that could have changed his life. My most caring Jesus, You speak to me all day, Lord, but at times I fail to listen. Help me with your grace, dear Lord, to hear and keep to your promptings. I choose to remain open to all that you ask of me. My Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 9:1-2  Sept 25, 2024. Free us from evil, Lord

My powerful Jesus, you commissioned your Apostles and gave them power over demons and their evil. You do not want to let the fallen angels torment your beloved children for they are powerless in your presence and in the presence of those who work and walk in you. Like the Apostles, you are sending us to this same mission. Forgive our witnesses, strengthen us, clear our thinking of the deceit of the evil ones, O Lord, empower and chastise us to accomplish your mission by overcoming the temptations and enticements of the evil one. My Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen

Luke 8:19-21. Sept 24, 2024 You desire that I should be your sibling, Lord.

My generous, Lord, you say all who listen to You and do what You say are Your mother and brothers. How marvelous is it that you desire that I should be your sibling? Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your generosity.  I do want to be one of your siblings. Give me the grace to listen and do what You say so that I may resemble You and bring You to others in all my ways. My generous Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 8:18. Sept 13, 2024. Fill me with your understanding, Lord.

Fill me with your understanding that I may comprehend Your words with all my senses, O Lord. Teach me how to ponder Your words and pray with them that I may understand You more for You are alive in Your word. You are truly the Living Word of God, teach me to love you more in your word. Jesus my Living Word, I trust in You. Amen

Matthew 9:11-13. Sept 19, 2024.  Help me respond to your invitation without hesitation, Lord.

Saint Matthew the tax collector followed Jesus without hesitation

You invite me every day to do your will, dear Lord. Help me respond to your invitations without hesitation. Like Saint Matthew, help me to detach myself from the things of the world and follow you wherever you lead me. My Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 8:1-2. Sept. 19, 2024. No one like You, Lord. Help me respond to you without hesitation, Lord.

Mary of Magdala, Joanna and Susanna following Jesus

Mary of Magdala, Joanna and Susanna followed you, Lord. In fact, they left everything and followed you because you deeply touched their lives. They were all in without fear and regrets. May I respond to you too, dear Lord, without fear nor regret because you are so good and so kind, and you are the only Lord of my Life.  No other Lord and Savior but You.  My Jesus I trust in you. Amen

Luke 7:48-50. Sept. 18, 2024.  It takes only repentance for you to receive me back when I stray, Lord.

The woman who wetted Jesus’ feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.

Because sin takes me away from you and you alone have the power to forgive sins and restore me to daughter ship, Lord, I plead for the grace of true repentance when I stray.  I am amazed at the way you forgive others. Thank you for your forgiveness and for loving me and my family and my friends so dearly. My loving Jesus, I trust in You.  Amen

Luke 7:32-35. Sept. 17, 2024 Each day comes as new as new can be, Lord

John the Baptist blowing a flute

You packed full each new day before it opens to me, dear Lord. Each new day is new as new can be; filled with its joys, hopes, trials, difficulties, challenges, and temptations. Teach me to receive each new day with a generous heart, dear Lord, and empower me to enjoy its joys and hopes and overcome its difficulties, challenges, and temptations. May I respond to prompting as you respond to them, Lord. My Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen

Luke 7:11-12. Sept. 16, 2024. You enter my story without my knowledge, Lord

The widow of Nain and her dead son

Without my knowledge, without my concern, you do things for me, O Lord. You enter my story and do great things every day without my knowledge. Little did the widow of Nain know you would bring back the life of her only son. She thought she had lost it all but just then you came to her help. What a merciful God are you.  You are so loving, kind, and merciful and you hear the cry of the pour. You enter our stories without our knowledge.  You are mercifully great and worthy to be praised.  Fill my heart with mercy that I may be merciful to all as you are merciful. Thank you, Lord.  I trust in You. Amen

Luke 7:6-7.  Sept.15th, 2024, Thank You for Your Saints, Lord.

Messengers from the Roman Centurion pleading with Jesus

O Lord my God, I am not worthy enough to stand before you or come to you face-to-face as your saints will do.  Thank you dear Lord for the gift of Your Saints who intercede for us day and night. Like the Centurion I have sinned and are short of your glory, O God. Unworthy as I am, to place my request before You my Almighty Father I wish to call upon you, O Saint Therese Of The Child Jesus; The Little Flower, to intercede for me. You promised to live your heaven on earth saving souls, please do carry my prayers to God. O Little Flower, pray for us. Amen

John 3:13–15. Sept 14, 2024. You were lifted up for my Salvation, Lord

Jesus lifted for our Salvation, Lord

O Lord how loving was it to be lifted up on that rugged cross for my Salvation. You continue to save me a sinner each day on the altar. Help me dear Lord that when I gaze on You on the altar, in the Blessed Sacrament, I should be able to recall Your greatest act of Salvation and its reward to my soul even now.  Increase my faith, dear Lord, that I may always believe and trust in Your mighty saving power.  My saving Lord, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 6:41. Sept 13, 2024. Lord, let me see myself as you see me.

My all-knowing Jesus, you know all about me. Your thoughts about me are so deep. You see my actions before I do them. You see me always with your eyes of mercy. Help me dear Lord to see myself as you see me and to see others as you see them. Give me the grace of self-awareness that I may see and work on the wooden beam in my eye and not dwell on the splinter in other’s eyes.  Let mercy fill my eyes as I gaze on anyone in my life. My merciful Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen

Luke 6:24-26. Sept. 11, 2024. May I be happy because of you, dear Lord.

Lord, who will live in your presence? Who will claim your mountain and savor your goodness and mercies? Never the rich nor the poor but those with clean hearts and humble spirits. I  lift my heart to you today dear Lord, just as I  am that by your grace help me to be always conscious of where beautiful things come from; where true joy peace happiness, and fulfillment come from, and that they come from the Lord who made heaven and earth. To you alone, O Lord, belongs true happiness and only from you and you alone can I gain it.  May I be happy always because of You, Lord   My dearest Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 6:17-19. Sept. 10, 2024. You bring healing and joy to those who hear you, Lord

My Lord of all goodness, today your word tells me that many came to hear you and be healed of their many diseases. You bring healing and joy to those who hear you, Lord. Your words and promises are powerful; they change life and your touch heals. When I look at the works of your hands, I have a reason to thank you and to live in your presence. May I be transformed by your word into your new creation.  Thank you, Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 6:6-7. Sept. 9, 2024.  You read hearts and minds,  Lord.

My all-knowing Jesus, all wisdom is yours.  You knew everyone before we were born. You can read the hearts and minds of all. I  can not hide my thoughts from You for You know me through and through and nothing just nothing in heaven and on earth can be hidden from You for You are all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present.  You know and are present to see when I think and do evil or when I think and do good. O Lord, by your grace help that I may do only what is pleasing to you and so live joyfully in your wonderful presence. My all-knowing Jesus I trust in You.  Amen

Luke 6:5  Sept. 7, 2024. You are the Lord of every good deed, O Lord

My Lord and my God, You are the Lord of the Sabbath, the Lord of every good deed, and the Lord of my life. You provide for Your loved ones in times of need and you care for the well-being of both their bodies and souls always.  Thank you, Lord, for your divine providence and care. Help me to keep the Sabbath holy by worshiping you and doing good. My Lord of all goodness,  I trust in you. Amen

Luke 5:37-39. Sept. 6, 2024 You call everyone to change, Lord.

My Sanctifying Jesus,  you invite me today to put new wine into new wineskin. Yes O Lord, I should receive the new wine of your good news, the grace from your blood and water which poured out from your side, into a renewed heart and mind.  Help me by your grace to keep my heart and mind always ready for your word and grace, because your word and grace, are a lamp to my feed and food for my soul. Let me be sanctified by the precious blood and water from your sacred side. My dearest  Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 5:8. Sept. 5, 2024. You are full of surprises, Lord.

My God of surprises, your deeds will never stop to amaze and challenge me. With Simon Peter, I kneel before you today saying, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” Your ways, O Lord, are not man’s, your deeds are powerful and You are full of surprises. Purify me, Lord, and make me worthy to stand in your presence and praise you because you are so good, so miraculous and so perfect and Your deeds so powerful and amazing. You are worthy to be praised. My God of surprises, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 4:38-39. Sept.4, 2024. You are powerful and loving, Lord

O Lord my God, how powerful and loving You are. You Speak to me every morning.  Each day you reveal who you are and what you can do or how powerful and loving You are.  You whisper in my ears, You teach me your ways. You reveal the truths about life, good and bad, love and hate – and all their rewards and consequences. You are a loving Savior always there to save Your people from the captivity of sickness and the evil one.  You are truly great and I am amazed by your doings.  Help me dear Lord to stay amazed by Your words and actions.  May I be open to know you more and more. My saving Lord, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 4:36-37. Sept. 3, 2024.  You are Most High above all, O Lord.

My saving Lord Jesus, You are Most High above all, and there is none like You. You raise the dead bringing life to all, you heal the sick putting joy on their faces, you chase out the demon setting the captives free, You forgive sins setting the sinners free, and mend the broken hearts bringing salvation to all.  You are worthy of all praise, honor, and worship for all authority and power belong to You. I surrender my whole being into your hands, O Lord, You and You alone are the only one with authority over my life. Do with me what you want. Thank You, Lord. My saving Lord, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 4:28-30 September 2, 2024. You are all-powerful, Lord and there is None like.

My Lord and my God, You are all-powerful, and there is None like You. You are the Messiah sent by God the Father to save us. Pity me and forgive me for the moments I doubted your personality, the truth about you, and the truth you teach. Teach me to listen to you more and know you more. Reveal to me the truth I need to know about You and help me to speak your truth in love always. My dearest Jesus, I  trust in you. Amen

Mark 7:1-2. September 1, 2024. Purify me, O Lord

O Lord my God, you desire that all you people be clean inside out. Purify me from the inside, O Lord, that my thoughts, words, and deeds may always be pleasing to you. Help me Lord with the grace I need to always turn away from the lies of the evil one and listen more to your gentle teachings of love to me. Dear Jesus,  I  trust in you. Amen
